What happens in a first session

You write or call

Say which language you prefer and how you would like to meet. We reply within one working day.

You get an estimate in writing

If you pay without insurance, we send a Good Faith Estimate before your first session.

You get a link, or a call

For video we send a link shortly before. For phone we call you at the time.

You talk, we listen

Your clinician asks what you would like help with and explains how they work and where privacy has limits. Nobody asks you to say more than you want to.

You decide

At the end you say whether to continue, with whom, and how often. It is fine to say not yet.

After

We confirm the next session by text or email, and send a receipt if you ask for one.
